SunGard's Intrader system will enable SunTrust to provide investment portfolio accounting, reporting and analysis, electronic messaging, and document management capabilities to its correspondent clients via the Web.

Jon Kozlowski, director of fixed income investment services at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Capital Markets, says: "Extending our current InTrader trading and safekeeping systems with the investment portfolio and correspondent capabilities gives us the many advantages of a common platform such as reduced time and cost of reconciling data, while providing timely information and better service to our institutional customers."
