Omgeo streamlines business intelligence with Brio

Trade-matching venture Omgeo has selected technology from Brio Software to streamline data and business intelligence reporting across its global operations.

Omgeo, a joint venture between Thomson Financial and the US Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation, has purchased Brio's intelligence and portal solutions to enable corporate information held in client databases or billing information to be housed and accessed from one central location.

Dave Merrill, managing director of global operations at Omgeo, says: "We expect Brio to help provide traditional information around our day-to-day operations and extract information about trade management service trends to help us make strategic decisions."
