Standard Chartered Bank has licensed Novadigm's Radia management suite to manage software for 31,500 servers, desktops, and laptops worldwide.
Novadigm's Radia management suite will be used to automate the management of digital assets, including operating systems, applications, and content used by the bank throughout its worldwide network of servers, desktops, and laptop computers.
The bank's IT network run in a hybrid environment of Unix and heterogeneous Windows operating systems.
Lee Allanson, senior project manager for Standard Chartered Bank, says: "Because there's so much diversity in our IT environment and rapid change in our business, we needed a solution that could ensure high reliability of software amidst such complexity and scale."
