Eagle Investment Systems Corp, a subsidiary of Mellon Financial, has launched the third edition of its Web-based investment data hub and portfolio management solution, Eagle Pace.
This latest version of Eagle Pace is now 90% Web-based and was developed in consultation with four of the vendor's institutional investment management clients. New features include improved reporting functions which are XML compliant; faster data loading rates of more than 1400 positions and trades per second benchmarked over Sun and Oracle kit; and up-to-the-minute distribution of complex portfolio reports to customers via a wireless device or the Internet.
Eagle Pace third edition migrates the performance measurement and attribution module into a Web-based environment. The module leverages the accounting and reference data in the Eagle Pace Data Hub to calculate and report daily performance to the security level, even at the highest volumes, with flexible rules-based calculations and reports.
Another significant enhancement includes the addition of a time zone scheduling tool for easy management of events that take place over multiple time zones.

The overall transition to a 100 per cent Web-based product will be available early next year in the fourth edition of Eagle Pace.
