E*Trade Japan has selected Reuters to deliver a new real-time Japanese language equity service for individual investors.

The online equity service is powered by Reuters Bridge Internet Toolkit (RBIT) Web site market data engine, and offers E*Trade Japan's 210,000 investors real-time news, prices, charts, and market depth information.

Taro Izuchi, E*Trade Japan president, says: "Reuters highly sophisticated streaming solution has enabled E*Trade Japan to make a major impact in the individual investors marketplace because individual investors like the professionals can now have access to a whole range of global financial market data and news and functionalities to make their stock selection."
