Invesco Asset Management is using JPMorgan's trade settlement tracking and relative ranking system (TradeStarr) to enhance its broker review process.

JPMorgan says TradeStarr is the first Web-based application that measures, analyses and statistically ranks the settlement efficiency of broker-dealers, both within and across markets.

The application's design, using aggregated statistical data, enables asset managers to analyse their particular trade settlement experience with broker dealers benchmarked against a relevant universe.

Jon Thompson, head of investment administration at Invesco Asset Management, says: "JPMorgan's TradeStarr is a cost effective means to add tremendous value to our broker review process which helps us to better manage our broker post execution relationships and translates into an ability to improve our efficiency."
