German insurance group Versicherungskammer Bayern has licensed SimCorp's TMS2000 investment management system, replacing VKB's existing legacy system.
Under the agreement, TMS2000 will provide support for a wide range of financial instruments for more than 30 users in front, middle and back office.
Implementation will begin in July of this year and is scheduled to be completed during Q2 of 2003.
VKB offers a range of insurance and pension products and services and has more than EUR23 billion in assets under management.
