European CRM vendor Point Information Solutions has teamed with NCR's Teradata division in an effort to offer clients an end-to-end customer relationship management solution.
The partnership melds Point's expertise in operational CRM with Teradata's analytics, campaign management and enterprise data warehousing solutions.
Jonathan Clarke, director, financial services solutions, Point Information Systems says: "We're finding that as the EMEA CRM market matures, customers are looking to extend the reach of operational CRM functionality and are now wanting to embed enterprise intelligence residing in their core database and data warehouse resources into their business process, so that they can leverage it during every customer interaction."
He says that Point and Teradata's CRM solutions are entirely complementary, with Point extending Teradata's CRM offering with end-to-end campaign execution support. This includes broadcast capabilities, cross-channel personalisation management, interactive integration through Touch Point Server (TPS) technology, multiple language support, media control, and expertise in the insurance sector and IFA partner relationships. Teradata in turn broadens Point's e-point financial services offering, says Clarke, with analytical capabilities, marketing planning functionality, contact optimisation and database interaction.
