The new glossary provides customers of the bank's Chinese online banking service with a comprehensive list of banking terms and their Chinese equivalent.

Peggy Sum, senior vice-president, Asian markets, Bank of Montreal, says: “With a population of more than one million Chinese Canadians and more than 40,000 new Chinese immigrants entering Canada each year, it is important that we continue to find ways to make it easy for these customers to access our services."

Bank of Montreal launched its Chinese language Web site last year and was one of the first Canadian banks to provide Chinese language options for its ABMs, automated telephone banking, and discount brokerage services.
