Alliance & Leicester has reduced its interest rates for customers choosing to apply for car loans over the Internet for a promotional period running until 16 May.
A new rate of 7.9 per cent APR is available on lending between £5000 and £20,000, reduced from 8.5 per cent APR, for customers applying via www.alliance-leicester.co.uk or Alliance & Leicester’s motoring advice site, www.smartermotoring.com. The offer ends 10am on Thursday 16 May.
Andy Bayes, A&L’s marketing manager for personal loans, says: “This offer will drive traffic to our Web sites where car buyers will discover that in addition to a competitive loan rate we can offer the kind of help and advice they need to get the car they really want.”
