California-based Digital Insight has added new inter-institution transfer and person-to-person payment technologies to its e-finance product suite.

The new solutions, which use technology from online payment outfit CashEdge, will enable banks to offer end-users fund transfer services between their primary account and their other accounts at other institutions. Consumers will also be able to send money electronically to friends, colleagues and businesses.

Digital Insight's new P2P technologies can be integrated into financial institutions' current Internet banking offering, says the company.
