Schroder Investment Management has gone live with a new global front office system from Charles River Development (CRD) to support its trading operations in London, Tokyo, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney.
The CRD integrated Trading System and ComplianceMaster product operates on a single database in London and is accessible to dealers, fund managers, deal implementers and compliance officers worldwide. The system enables Schroders to deal live in different markets across the globe at all times.
The system's dealing modules are currently live in Schroders' Tokyo office, and at its US and Latin American equities desks in London, to be followed shortly by the remaining desks. Implementations at offices in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney are planned for later this year.
The system was implemented by an experienced inhouse IT team that included experts in decision support, modelling, middleware and data management, with additional support provided by a dedicated team of Charles River Development consultants and a consultant from Citisoft, who also assisted in the selection process.
