Bank of Scotland investment services has introduced a new range of financial planning tools from KeyMS, designed to help visitors to its Web site assess their future financial needs.
Developed using Flash animation technology, and integrated into Bank of Scotland Investment Service back-office system, the site helps the user to plan financially for their future needs. Based on the age and family circumstances of the user, the software highlights the issues people should be planning for -such as university education or retirement income - and shows them how to achieve their objectives.
Also included is a suite of calculators dealing with insurance, pensions, inheritance tax, savings and surplus income.
Rob Jones, Bank of Scotland Investment Service electronic trading manager, comments: "We wanted to move away from the typical dry, information-centred financial website and provide an experience which will allow people to develop their own financial strategy."
