Independence Community Bank chooses Magnet for small business banking

New York-based Independence Community Bank has selected Magnet Communications' Internet Banking Suite as the platform for delivering Web-based services to its small and medium sized business customers.
The Magnet package will provide the bank with a range of cash management and business banking services from a single platform, including information reporting, ACH services, wire transfer, lockbox, positive pay and Web-based cash concentration.
The software will deployed over Magnet's hosted service platform, MOS (Magnet Outsource Service).
Dan Harris, first vice president, corporate services of Independence Community Bank, says: "A key element of our corporate services strategy is to upgrade our business customers from our consumer banking platform to online services that better address their business needs."
