The webMethods platform will be deployed as the integration backbone for business process modelling, business process management and workflow capabilities at the Asian investment bank.

In addition, the platform will allow CLSA to interface and communicate with exchanges, electronic communication networks, third party financial services partners and its global client base using the Swift ISO 15022 standard, says the company. Users will also be able to connect to the GSTP and Omgeo utilities via the webMethods platform.

T. Rajah, chief information officer, CLSA, says: "By leveraging the secure, standards-based architecture of the webMethods integration platform, CLSA can not only forge deeper customer relationships, but also can meet the challenges of shorter settlement cycles and risk profiles."
