First Tennessee Bank has chosen workforce management technology from GMT to specify staff scheduling at 200 financial centres located throughout Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi.
The bank will use GMT' Planet software to schedule tellers' hours and assignments to actual customer needs and flows within each financial centre. Previously, this task was undertaken manually.
Amy Shreve, manager of financial center services, First Tennessee, says: "We can predict when customers will be in our centers and what kinds of transactions they will be performing. We understand how many tellers we need and when we need them. That puts us in a much better position to provide great customer service and improves employee morale."
