American Express International is to implement CCK Financial Solutions' (CCK) Guava treasury management system across its foreign exchange business in Australia.
Under the agreement, the new front office system, Guava Dealer, and back office system, Guava Ops, will be implemented at merican Express' Sydney office, to handle the company's Australian operations.
CCK describes Guava as an integrated suite of front to back office treasury applications allowing companies to manage all aspects of their treasury and risk management operations through a central system. The package includes dealing (including pricing of financial products, portfolio analysis and deal capture), risk management (including limit management, computation of Value at Risk and compliance reporting), operations (including confirmations and settlement) and accounting.
American Express will be the fourth implementation of Guava following ING Bank (Australia) who went live with the system earlier this year.
