OM is showcasing its new central securities depository and settlement system, Exigo CSD, at the FOW International Derivatives Exhibition in Frankfurt this week.
The system covers both domestic and cross border settlement and other CSD financial services in a real-time environment.
Its architecture can be configured to mirror any CSD operating structure, allowing easy addition of new functionality and instruments, says the vendor, along with easy link-ups with other CSD organisaitons and settlement systems worldwide.
Magnus Böcker, chief operating officer at OM, comments: “We estimate that over the next five years CSDs worldwide will move from in-house technology development to total outsourcing."
SFE will be the first exchange to implement Exigo CSD, creating one common infrastructure for the clearing and settlement of all SFE-listed derivatives and debt securities in the Australian market.
