IFAengine, the financial services portal for Bankhall, which is owned by Skandia, already offers comparative quotation facilities. The new service will enable IFA's to complete and process investment bonds and term assurance applications electronically.

Insurance companies such as Friends Provident, Norwich Union, Skandia and Prudential are already transacting business with bonds and term assurance live and IFAengine anticipates other product providers will link up to the portal over the next few months.

David Warnock, managing director of IFAengine, explains: "By integrating goal:technology into our portal, IFAengine can now offer its members the full benefits of electronic submission of product proposals."
