First American Payment Processing has selected Experian's eSeries authentication solutions to verify the identity of e-cheque holders for Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment processing.

Experian's eSeries package offers three levels of real-time consumer authentication. Level one offers basic verification and standardisation of name and address. Level two includes customised interactive session with the consumer to verify customer identity from Experian's databases. Level three adds customised, customer-specific questions. Level three is typically deployed to detect potential fraud and to safeguard high-risk transactions and sensitive exchanges, says the company.
