US-based Beal Bank has signed a five-year agreement, valued at over $4 million, to implement London Bridge Group's Phoenix system across its banking operations.
The bank has chosen to run the Phoenix system on an outsourced basis, out of London Bridge's data centre located in Atlanta.
The Phoenix System is delivered in a client/server environment, with data stored on an NT-based server in an SQL-compliant relational database. Data is accessed through a Novell or NT network of Intel-based workstations, under a Windows graphical user environment.
