California-based CyberSource Corporation has added new reporting and analysis functionality to its Payment Service product - an outsourced platform that is used to authorise and settle electronic payments through built-in connections with third-party processors and merchant banks.
The upgraded CyberSource Payment Service features a new reporting system offering online data analysis and customised graphical reports that can be securely accessed and downloaded on demand in a variety of formats, including XML, PDF, and CSV.
For businesses with multiple transaction processing accounts, a new single sign-on feature allows account managers to access information for each account using one username and password. In addition, an aggregated reporting feature provides a consolidated summary of activity for all business accounts.
Tracy Wilk, vice president of payment product management at CyberSource Corporation, comments: “We are giving them (our customers) greater access to their valuable transaction data and analytics to identify their specific transaction trends for better management of their commerce business.”
Several support screen improvements have also been made which include a more intuitive user interface and increased search capabilities. All support screens will have online help, providing assistance with any unfamiliar terms a user may encounter.
The new reporting functionality will be available by the end of January and the enhanced support screens will be rolled out in February.
