The Brut ECN is rolling out its front-end Workstation for institutions and other professional traders following a three month delay as a result of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre.
The Brut Workstation includes the implementation of the Sponsorship Model, which will enable institutional customers to repatriate a majority of each trade's commission dollars to a broker/dealer of their choice.
Brut began beta testing of the Workstation with select institutional investors in July 2001, in conjunction with TheBeast, Inc. The initial rollout date of September 15, 2001, was postponed as a result of the attack on the World Trade Centre, which destroyed The Beast HQ.
