One in five correspondents using retail client Web site says BNY

BNY Clearing Services says that almost one in five of its correspondents has chosen to use MyAccountSite.com, a retail client Web site introduced by the New York clearer six months ago.
MyAccountSite.com allows retail clients of BNY Clearing’s broker/dealer correspondents to access their account information through the Internet. The site features real-time account updates, financial news, quotes and charts. BNY Clearing says the service has gained popularity among correspondents that do not have a Web presence but would like to offer their clients Internet access to their accounts.
BNY Clearing’s CEO, C. Michael Viviano, comments: "Many of our correspondents were looking for a solution that would allow them to offer clients online account access without having to host their own Web sites. With MyAccountSite.com, clients can retrieve real-time quotes and personal account information at their convenience, without having to call their brokers."
