Electronic trading vendor Javelin Technologies has opened a new sales office in Hong Kong in a bid to expand its presence in the Asia Pacific region.

Currently, Javelin counts approximately 15 clients in Asia Pacific, spanning customers such as Credit Lyonnais, Nasdaq Japan, Reuters Japan and Headstrong. Javelin also provides its trading solutions to a number of exchange and investment management clients in the region.

The Hong Kong office, located at One Pacific Place, Admiralty, gives Javelin coverage in Asia Pacific in addition to its offices in Europe (London and Paris) and the United States (New York and San Francisco). As in the past, support for Javelin's clients in the region will be provided from the company's offices in Manila.
