SunGard is to provide customers of the SunGard Transaction Network (STN) with direct access to fixed income trading on ValuBond.
STN fixed income is an integrated transaction network that facilitates straight-through processing between asset managers, brokers, ECN's, exchanges, banks, settlement agents and custodians.
Customers will be able to place orders for municipal, corporate, agency, and treasury bonds, which will be executed on the live, anonymous ValuBond fixed income platform. STN users will also have access to ValuBond's original issue market products.
Existing STN equities customers can use their current STN connection to access ValuBond, says the company.
