The European Blink platform already provides institutional investors with a recognised electronic real-time trading solution on major Asian markets, says the company. The newly integrated platform will encompass risk and index arbitrage as well as the sale of Asian derivatives and structured products.

The move forms part of the group's restructuring programme for its Asian operations and the forging of closer links with Europe. Under the restructuring, CAI will close the WI Carr research brokerage with the loss of 350 jobs in 12 countries.
