Nationwide to implement AIT customer relationship software

UK building society Nationwide has selected AIT's Portrait CRM solution to improve customer service across multiple delivery channels.

The solution will be implemented across the building society's branches and customer contact centres, and will give advisers a single view of customers, their accounts, recent events and contacts. It will also provide intelligent sales prompts for Nationwide products.

The Portrait system was launched in February 2001 and supports a range of channels, including contact centre, Internet, wireless, branch and iTV.

The Natiownide deal marks AIT's first Portrait implemenation within a financial services organisation. It was selected by the UK building society following a stringent period of proof of capability, which demonstrated its ability to link to existing Nationwide systems.

Steve Clode, Nationwide's divisional director of marketing, comments: "Portrait is a perfect fit with our CRM requirements, both in its functionality and its ability to integrate with our existing systems."
