Barclays is to provide the OneSource Business Browser service to all of its UK employees.
The Business Browser system delivers corporate and industry information including company profiles, news, business and trade articles, analyst reports, executive profiles, industry intelligence and financial data.
Bruce Thompson, project manager at Barclays says the availability of ready-to-use business information will increase the efficiency of the bank's corporate teams and present a more professional image to clients. "We were looking for an effective way to deliver high quality external business information to every UK desktop," he says. "Ease of use was a key factor in our decision."
