Prior to joining Bridge, Daly was managing director for Europe at IQ Financial Systems. From 1992 to 1998, Daly held management positions in Europe with Dow Jones Markets, which has since been acquired by Bridge and renamed Telerate, Inc.

Daly's appointment is part of Bridge's strategy to more closely align sales, marketing, administrative and service functions in its European operations.

He reports to Malcolm Stewart-Smith, Bridge MD for Europe, Middle East and Africa. "James Daly will connect the customers and the technology," says Stewart-Smith.

Emmanuel Sequin also joined Bridge this week to take up the position of European director of business and administration, based in Zurich. Sequin most recently served as senior vice president of the private bank of ABN AMRO in Zurich. From 1990 to 1998 he was senior financial controller for Dow Jones Markets.
