HFC Bank has chosen Interwoven TeamSite software to manage the update and roll-out of e-finance Web sites covering the Goldfish, GM and Marbles credit card brands. TeamSite will enable bank staff from diverse departments to rapidly develop content and deploy a range of transactional Web services while maintaining tight central control.
"The efficiency and quality of TeamSite provides HFC Bank with considerable productivity benefits," explains Steve Walker, IT development manager at HFC Bank. "TeamSite allows our teams across technical and marketing departments to work individually and then integrate and deploy content across all Web sites and other IT environments like our intranet. We're reducing what would have been huge manual overheads and have increased roll-out speed by up to 25 percent."
The software works by integrating content from various HFC Bank applications running on Microsoft Windows NT. The product supports versioning of both file system and database assets, and features an integral workflow engine. HFC Bank is also using XML TeamSite Templating to enforce and protect its various Web-based brands by integrating new content in conformance with the company's approved look and feel.
