The Tokyo Stock Exchange is introducing two new new market data services, for corporate action information and the calculation of TSE indices.
The coporate action information service is geared towards global custodians and will provide data relating to listed companies, including dividends, mergers and public issues.
The service will be provided over the Internet with the possibility to download information from the Web in CSV format. The TSE says it will offer customer support to cusodians by e-mail in English.
The Topix Data Service was created to support those who run passive management and control risk management by providing accurate information for calculating TSE indices. The service features packaged information for calculating indices, such as the addition or deletion of constituents, and changes to the number of shares so that users may grasp in advance the effects on their portfolio.
