Dubai-based Crédit Agricole Indosuez Gulf has gone live with Misys International Banking Systems' (Misys) standalone cash management solution, Fontis pcBanking.
The Fontis software enables the bank to deliver a variety of secure electronic banking services directly to the desktops of corporate clients. These services include statements of account and balance reporting, receiving and executing client instructions for remittances, cash management, opening LC’s and issuing LGs.
Jean-Claude Kitabgi, regional manager, Crédit Agricole Indosuez Gulf, says: "The new system will result in faster and more efficient cash management, thereby increasing productivity and reducing communication costs."
Crédit Agricole Indosuez Gulf is the second branch in the CAI banking group to use the Fontis eBanking platform. The bank’s Kenyan counterpart Crédit Agricole Indosuez Nairobi launched the solution to its corporate clients earlier this year. At both sites, Fontis interfaces directly with the banks’ proprietary back-office solution.
