California-based Chordiant Software has entered an alliance with management and technology consulting firm Accenture to jointly develop multi-channel customer relationship management (CRM) solutions for financial services organisations in Northern Europe.
The alliance marks the formalisation of a relationship between the two companies, which has already delivered major CRM solutions to multiple financial services organisations within the United Kingdom.
Under the terms of the agreement, Chordiant will join Accenture's network of alliance partners, and Accenture will become the preferred implementer of Chordiant's CRM software in Denmark, Ireland, Finland, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
Sam Spadafora, chairman and CEO of Chordiant, says: "Companies need a unified, customer relationship environment that is integrated into the entire enterprise so that they can maximise each individual customer interaction, increasing cross-selling opportunities and customer retention."
