UK-based banking software component vendor Aspace Solutions has entered a strategic partnership agreement with Sun Microsystems as a preferred computer platform supplier
The agreement will see Sun Microsystems platforms used for a series of hosted e-banking applications for smaller banks and building societies offered by Aspace Solutions.
Steve Keohane, managing director of Aspace Solutions, comments: "In a series of benchmark tests, the Sun Microsystems platform performed exceptionally well. Furthermore, by bringing together a series of available components as opposed to designing a bespoke system, we can deliver our solutions at a price which is realistic for the smaller banks and building societies."
