CIBC today confirmed that all employees from its offices at One World Financial Centre, located near the destroyed World Trade Centre, have been accounted for.
"I am relieved and delighted to be able to report that all our employees from that location are safe," says John Hunkin, chairman and CEO of CIBC.
The offices, which employed approximately 1,900 people, had been evacuated prior to the collapse of the twin towers of the World Trade Centre.
