The Cantor Exchange, an electronic network for trading US Treasury futures, has extended trading hours to include the entire Tokyo trading day. Under the new regimen, contracts will be tradable 23 hours a day, from 18:30 Eastern Standard Time through 17:30 the following day.
The technology backbone for the Cantor Exchange and parent brokerage Cantor Fitzgerald is provided by eSpeed. The New York Board of Trade (NYBOT) provides regulatory and clearing expertise.
The Exchange is currently recognised and/or authorised as a foreign exchange in the United Kingdom, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Japan, Norway and Germany.
