The company is looking for market-ready applications from startups covering six potential business areas, including internet banking, financial services for travelers, high net worth individuals and the underbanked, blockchain and authentication.

The highest ranking application in each of the six themed areas will progress to a grand finale at Sony HQ in March, with the ultimate winner claiming the PoC prize.

Entry to the challenge is open exclusively through the Matchi platform, and will close on 17 February.
