The Baddest Man on the Planet, Mike Tyson, is muscling in on the world of cryptocurrencies, lending his star power to a new bitcoin ATM in Las Vegas.
Over the weekend, the former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world tweeted his 4.89 million followers a link to the site for the Mike Tyson Bitcoin ATM.
The barebones site says that Iron Mike's ATM is coming in August, adding "Mike Tyson's fastest knock out in the ring was 30 seconds. The Mike Tyson bitcoin ATM can turn your cash into bitcoin in under 20 seconds."
However, some in the bitcoin community have raised concerns about the partners that Tyson, who is no stranger to shady business associates, has teamed up with.
Copyright on the page is linked to Bitcoin Direct, a bitcoin ATM firm which is
majority owned by beef cattle company Conexus Cattle Corp. Bitcoin Direct claims to have machines in New York and Montreal but does not have a website.
Meanwhile,
Silicon Angle is reporting that the Tyson site's domain owner is Peter Klamka, the man behind a firm called Bitcoin Brands Inc, which has a market cap of just $6780.
