The bank has chosen to implement the thin client IMEX Multi-Entity version on the Unix platform.

The system allows the bank to work in a distributed mode in all its branches without requiring any client software other than a standard browser.

Joel Koschitzky, chairman and CEO, Surecomp, says: "The thin client version of IMEX offers all the required trade finance modules in an integrated system. This results in the seamless consolidation of data across various deal types."

La Caixa can implement an advanced workflow system based on the integration between IMEX and its Panagon imaging system from FileNet. The bank can now produce high-quality documents using Microsoft Word as the IMEX text editor and document composer, says the company.
