Under terms of the agreement, GlobalNetFinancial will provide money and finance information from its UK investment site www.UK-iNvest.com. With download capability between 10 and 20 times the speed of a conventional modem, share price data and performance graphs should download to BTopenworld faster than narrowband services.

Daily market reports by UK-iNvest's City team, 'chart breakers' and 'stocks on the move' cover all London-listed prices in major and smaller companies.

BTopenworld subscribers will also be given a stocktrading link to GlobalNetFinancial's recently launched online brokerage, www.StockAcademy.com.

The BTopenworld deal is a continuation of GlobalNetFinancial's strategy to drive traffic from its financial content sources to a diversified group of proprietary online execution platforms. The company recently entered into a separate agreement with BT Europe to deliver financial news and e-finance services via WAP to BT's network of more than 16 million mobile phone users.

Commenting on the agreement, Stanley Hollander, Chairman and CEO of GlobalNetFinancial, states: "The move into interactive broadband with BTopenworld is an important step in expanding our business model from the Internet to other distribution platforms including broadband, television and mobile phone access."
