In partnership with Vancouver-based TRG Mobilearth, Statewide Federal Credit Union is set to go live with the tablet-based MobiBranch app, enabling employees to sign up new accounts, loan and mortgage applications anywhere their members live, work or play.

MobiBranch allows employees to onboard new accounts, complete lending applications, show off marketing brochures or other documents and use mobile payments to fund share accounts instantly. Completed forms are uploaded to a secure MobiBranch server with automated routing to the relevant department for processing.

The app can also be used in-branch for capturing digital signatures and completing paperless applications.

Bruce Ulrich, head of marketing at Statewide FCU, says: "By getting our employees out of the branch to where our members live, work and play, members can accomplish their in-branch banking anywhere, and on their schedule, not ours."
