According to AP, the bank began testing the 'BankAmeriDeals' service, based on software from Cardlytics, with its staff in Nevada and North and South Carolina this week, ahead of a country-wide employee roll out.

The system assesses customers' spending on their cards and then offers them deals based on the information. Users can pick up the offers by clicking on them when they visit their online account.

Customers then make purchases that their offers cover with their cards and once a month receive a cash-back reward for all the deals used.
