The National Bank of Greece has implemented human resources management as part of an ongoing SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) initiative.
The bank says the programme will improve productivity and the quality of its staff-related policies and practices. The implementation encompasses all aspects of the human resources function, including personnel records, recruitment, training, evaluation, job description, organisation charts, and traveling expenses.
The project will interface with the other SAP applications implemented by NBG in other areas so far. These include finance as well as the management of treasury operations, assets, real estate and materials.
Similar SAP applications have already been installed in Ethniki Hellenic General Insurance and Astir Palace Vouliagmenis as part of a progressive roll out to other companies of the NBG Group.
