Japanese futures commission merchant Himawari Securities has gone live with FNX’s Sierra system to provide a Web-based FX e-trading solution to the firm's 800 clients.
FNX’s Java-based Sierra Quantum module will handle all aspects of the company's customer order management functionality, including order entry and order status, real-time quotes and two-way timed quotes, margin status as well as position keeping, says Takashi Ozeki, Himawari Securities' financial service department manager.
Clients will receive direct access to their trading accounts, and can monitor their account status, place orders, run activity reports, and view pricing, all in real-time, he adds.
