The pre-loaded cards will be given to athletes, coaches and team officials at the Games, enabling users to buy Coke branded drinks at vending machines at the various Olympic and Paralympic venues.

Anne Koski, head, card payment innovation, RBC, says: "We know that athletes have enough on their minds during the Games. With the Visa Prepaid Card from RBC, they will have easy and convenient access to beverages whenever they need a drink."

To celebrate the Games, RBC has also rolled out Visa pre-paid gift cards profiling Olympians that can be used to buy tickets, food and beverages, retail goods and services.
