The Emirates Bank Group, Dubai, is to port its Internet banking system, BankNet, to the Twister platform supplied by Brokat.
By shifting the three year old BankNet system to Twister, the bank aims to channel all of its electronic banking services over a single software platform. Twister will integrate the bank's branch, telephone and Internet distribution channels with a view to delivering a co-ordinated multi-channel banking service.
