CertCo has secured $20 million in financing from a group of investors including Deutsche Bank, Bank One and Cazenove, and announced the appointment of Susan Codrington as managing director of its newly-established London office.
The new funds will be used to help market CertCo's risk management and security solutions to the European B2B e-commerce sector.
Codrington has been appointed from PKI consultancy Xtranet where she handled sales of Internet security solutions and managed major contracts within the banking and telecommunications industries. At CertCo, she will be expected to drive the company's expansion in Europe, forging alliances with technology partners and leading it's overseas sales efforts.
