UK-based banking consultancy CWB has signed a partnership agreement with California-based WhiteLight Systems to design and deploy analytic applications to the investment banking community.
The London firm will also utilise WhiteLight's AnalyticServer to complement Asterisk, CWB's global credit risk management solution. The new functionality will enable clients to create complex analytical models that incorporate all the variables affecting their credit risk decisions.
Hugh Hughes, CEO of CWB, comments: "Many financial institutions are data rich, but information poor. Our clients regularly tell us that fast decision-making based on all the facts is key, however many complain of information overload."
He says the partnership will offer clients the opportunity to leverage their existing data to speed up the decision making process and reduce their time to market.
