With the implementation of Fontis Internet and PC banking software, CBZ's corporate and retail clients will gain round-the-clock access to a range of secure banking services such as balance and statement reporting, money transfers, third party payments, treasury information and e-mail, says the company.

MKI says it took less than eight weeks for the system to be installed, customised, interfaced to the bank’s back-office and set up for pilot testing. The bank is now completing testing and preparing for a full deployment in the second quarter 2001.
